The first convocation ceremony of Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University was held.


New Delhi : Sanskrit language was the medium of flow of knowledge in ancient times. Union Minister for Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan said that it is necessary to have a new perspective in Sanskrit studies in New Delhi on Tuesday. New initiatives are being added to the propagation of Sanskrit. By reorganizing three Sanskrit universities, Modiji has furthered efforts to preserve India's original lore. Vedas, the oldest books of civilization, were written in Sanskrit. Vedas are not only a book but also a great book of knowledge. Sanskrit is the medium to popularize all these things. Today, there is a need to read, teach and promote research in Sanskrit from a new perspective. The Union Minister said that the National Education Policy has given priority to Indian languages. Pursuant to this educational policy, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University will revive the Indian intellectual tradition and enrich Indian languages ​​including Sanskrit and play a leading role in popularizing Indian values ​​and the eternal wisdom contained in the Vedas. Honorable President expressed his gratitude to Draupadi Murmu and congratulated all the students who received medals and titles and wished them a bright future.
