Odisha Academy of Fine Arts opens contemporary art exhibition on the occasion of the 1st World Oriya Language Conference.


Bhubaneswar,03/02,(Utkal News7): Odisha Academy of Fine Arts, Odisha Language, Literature and Culture Department presents the artworks of senior sculptors who have received Dharmapada awards on the occasion of the 1st World Oriya Language Conference. A contemporary art exhibition has been inaugurated at Buddha Art Gallery in Niladri, Bihar. The president of the academy and international sand sculptor Sudarshan Patnaik graced it. On this occasion, Senior Sculptor Vinod Maharana, Dharmapada Awardee, Sushhidhar Pratihari and Shyam Sundar Patnaik inaugurated the exhibition by lighting the main lamp. The guests expressed that the creative paintings of the senior artists will inspire the upcoming young artists. Panchanan Samal, secretary of the academy, introduced the guests and welcomed them with flowers. In the said exhibition, Odisha's famous senior artists D. Muralidhar Tali, Rabinarayan Naik, Ajith Keshari Roy, Anant Kumar Panda, Asit Mukherjee, Gokul Bihari Patnaik, D. Durga Prasad Das, Padma Bhushan D. Yatin Das. , Dinnath Tasthi, Padmavibhushan Raghunath Mahapatra, Banbihari Parida, Shyam Sunder Patnaik, Jagdish Chandra Kanungo, Vinod Maharna, Mahendra Prasad Mahapatra, Lalat Mohan Patnaik, 36 major works have been placed. On the occasion of the exhibition, members of the general council of the academy, Vijay Kumar Parida, artist Sushant Kumar Singh Samantha, Bishwaranjan Kara, Narottam Das and Zamarlata Shatpathi were prominently present. The exhibition will be open till next 7th from 11th to 7th.
