The government has taken a strict stance regarding delays in posting orders.

Bhubaneswar : The government has become strict over delays in issuing posting orders for government employees. It has adopted a tough approach regarding delays in getting joining and posting orders. Information suggests that idle salary due to the delay will be recovered from the officers responsible. Any wastage of salary caused by the delay will have to be paid by the concerned officer. In this regard, the Finance Department has issued a circular directing the secretaries. However, the government has rejected proposals to extend the period from 120 days to more than 6 months.
