Balasore : Two of three friends who had gone to bathe at Nilahrad or Blue Lake in Nilgiri of Balasore district today went missing in deep water. Roshan Nayak(18), a Remuna College student from Artukana area under Hatadihi block of Keonjhar district, Bhavishya Patra(17), a second-year Plus Two Commerce student of Fakir Mohan Autonomous College from Baripada, and his classmate from the same college, Anshuman Patra(18), from Apartibindha area of Bhadrak district, had come to visit this Nilahrad near Mitrapur under Nilgiri police station. After the three friends shot a reels video, Bhavishya and Anshuman entered the water to bathe, but slipped and fell into the deep waters. Despite Roshan's best efforts, he could not rescue them. It has been alleged that such incidents occur repeatedly at the spot because the water is more than 300 feet deep. At the time of writing, an ODRAF team from Balasore and the Nilgiri fire service personnel are busy searching for the two missing students.
