There will be no shortage of petrol and diesel in the state by Monday ; says the secretary of the Petrol Pump Association.



Bhubaneswar, 16/05 : Side effect of the Middle East war. Long queues of customers are forming at fuel stations for oil. Looking one way, the eye can’t find the end; looking the other way, nothing else is visible. Due to the crowd of people along with rows of vehicles, traffic movement is also being affected. Such situations are being seen at various petrol pumps in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. There are also reports that some petrol pumps have been shut down. A chaotic situation is prevailing everywhere. Meanwhile, Petrol Pump Association secretary Sanjay Lath said that the situation in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar has improved. By evening, the situation in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar will improve further. By Monday, there will be no shortage of petrol and diesel at petrol pumps across the state.


Similarly, the Petroleum Association has requested oil companies to keep oil depots open even on Sunday so that fuel can reach all districts. The Prime Minister’s appeal was presented in the form of rumors, due to which people resorted to panic buying. Due to the gap between demand and supply, a fuel crisis had arisen, said Utkal Petrol Dealers Association general secretary Sanjay Lath.
