If yes, then Agnimitra Paul and Rupa Ganguly will certainly be in the race. Both are well-known in the state and have achieved strong victories. If the BJP does not make a woman the Chief Minister, then Mamata’s arch-rival Suvendu Adhikari, state BJP chief Samit Bhattacharya, Nisith Pramanik, and the ever-discussed Dilip Ghosh could be among the contenders.Former TMC member Suvendu Adhikari is widely recognized as the face of the BJP in Bengal. He is a grassroots-level leader, with significant influence in Medinipur. Among all, Suvendu Adhikari is currently leading the discussion as the top contender for the Chief Minister’s post.
